| Liquid Castile (Olive Oil Soap) *Rosemary Mint*

This 8oz. liquid soap is handmade by hot process and contains no sodium lauryl sulfate or other chemical foaming agents.
When creating a liquid soap versus a bar soap, I use a different type of lye - potassium hydroxide. There is no lye left over in well-made soap as it is used up during the process. Because this soap contains a high amount of olive oil, it is not as thick as commercial soaps. This does not, however, affect its luxurious lather. This soap also contains a small amount of isolpropyl alcohol (or rubbing alcohol). This is used to keep the soap in solution while cooking, and is mostly boiled off at the end of the process. There is a tiny amount left in the soap, so it is listed in the ingredients.
The scent is a sweet peppermint with hints of rosemary. Just enough to linger slightly after washing. Great as a hand soap or in the shower!
